• Current Bank Balance is around $20K
• Unofficial Cougar Night profit is about $3K
• Square was 2.6% of transactions plus $.10
• Just a reminder that we have Amazon and Sam’s account with our tax exempt status on file.

Community Activities VP Report:

• Community Activities: Shailja - We are planning a collection drive for  L3 (Love, Literacy, Life) of Mac n cheese boxes on Dec 2nd - 6th. Ms. Gerner has a service club this year and we will connect and possibly use kids to count boxes and make a competition between the grade levels.They will pick up the food collected directly from Lakewood. 
• Website - Robin Jensen - Has been showcasing each PTO role on the web site.
• ELA Books: An email was sent out about ordering ELA books for your student. This helps support the LKMS library. 
• Your student’s book will be delivered directly to their ELA class where they will be reading, analyzing and annotating throughout their ELA course. 
• Also by ordering your student’s ELA books through the PTO website, you help raise money for our school’s Library and English Language classrooms because 30% goes back to the school. Last year we raised almost $3,000!

School Activities VP Report: Shailja Enriquez-

• Spirit Wear: Jennifer Davenport - We had more complaints about Century Marketing’s shirt sizing this go around.  Jen wants to talk about switching to the local gal that now does the SRE spirit wear.  
• She doesn't have a website, but you can find her @RubyLaneKC on Instagram or here is the SRE Spirit Wear Link (https://form.jotform.com/242546910218152)
• The LKMS PTO Board needs to vote on this prior to the 5th grader's spirit wear order in the Spring.  
• Discussion regarding ordering LKMS spirit wear with Sunset Ridge’s 5th grade celebration t-shirts in a bulk order to reduce costs. 

• Cougar Night: Jennifer Turner & Kylie Foster -  November 8th 6:00 - 8:00 pm
• A very successful Cougar Night! Thank you!

• 8th Grade Farewell: Anne Hayes is our 8th Grade Celebration Chair. She now has the binder. 
• Anne’s committee is: Cassi Furderer, Jen Karpinski, Neely Bordegon, Kristen Mann & Lindsey Churchman
• They met last week and are looking into Bluhawk. Discussion regarding adding ice skating as an additional activity
• Thursday, May 22nd 8:15 ceremony, and then get on the bus for the Celebration.

• Diversity Council Liaison - Angela Mosby -
• Angela will give a brief update on Diversity Club. Ms. Holtzapple had a multicultural club meeting and the kids decided to create digital posters and teach each other about their culture. They are looking forward to the multicultural Festival, possibly the last Wednesday in April, the 30th.
• Angela has also identified her potential replacement for next school year, Manasi Sharma.

School Fundraising  VP Report: Erin Dunlap -

• Trivia Night - Thursday, November 14th, Erin updated us: Event from 5:30 - 9:00pm
• Total sales as of 1/14/24, we will have 20 tables, 
• Raffles have been going great, approx $1,300 raised so far!
• The breakdown between raffle sales, admission sales, mulligans, and library donations.
• Overview of how the evening will go and how many we have in attendance.
• The website is set up for sponsors and registrations.
• The Marketing was ordered and put up.
• Food will be provided by K Machos.
• Nacho bar with cheese from Sams as well as cookies will be picked up at Sam’s
• A portion of the money raised will be donated to the library. “Donated by” stickers are put in books for donors.

• Mouse Derby - Friday, January 17th 
• 7pm-9pm
• Lodge at Ironwoods

• We had our first sale this week!  
• Wine & Whiskey Pull Donation Drive coming soon! Whisky tasting at the Lionsgate Clubhouse if you come in and drop off a donation of whisky bottle. Sunday, December 1st 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
• Volunteers needed for the night of the event!
